I will get out to recce the area in the next week and will plan to have a new route and a map in place in time for your recce. however..............and without jinxing myself.......follow. the. tape. Should work....... The route will be marked as per the current guidelines and there should be no requirement to recce. |

| Peter O'Farrell | Jun 26 2025, 10:54am | Thanks to Alan Kennedy and Paul Mahon for company, chats and much lopping of branches yesterday. The long course for Ballinastoe is about 11km with 500m of climb and is very similar to the course from a few years ago. There is a plotaroute image on the photo section and https://www.plotaroute.com/route/3023373 should work also. Keep your eyes peeled and.....Follow. The. Tape. :) |

| Jeff Swords | Today, 8:37am | Just to clarify Anne, when you say water jumps, jumps imply jumping into rather than over the deep water when you misjudged the depth and you saw rainbows as a result of the shock of hitting and slipping waist deep into the freezing water? That was my experience anyway (apart from the rainbows). |
