| John Oflynn | Aug 25 2025, 12:44pm | Slightly new format and route this year No tracker A number of control points teams must hit ( both runners must reach these points we trust ye on this ) A gpx of route ( grid references will be added to events page soon) has been updated to events page This is only a suggested route to link up the points there are bolder and more crafty routes to be found with a bit of courage and some map reading Race will be open for registration soon |
| John Oflynn | Aug 26 2025, 12:56am | A bit of admin This is a DUO race no SOLO runners ( IMRA has a no refund policy) All teams must start and finish together All control points must be reached in sequence by both team members ( we trust your integrity in this regard) It is an open choice race between the control points A new GPX of suggested route has been uploaded to the race events page There are more direct and crafty lines to be found for the BRAVE and map savvy Categories Female Male Mixed Prizes for 1st and 2nd place in each category How to enter Both team members sign up and then post their names and IMRA numbers on this thread THIS IS A TOUGH ROUTE WITH SECTIONS OF TRACKLESS MOUNTAIN NOT FOR BEGINNERS SAYING THAT IT IS GOOD FUN! |
