| John Oflynn | Aug 23 2024, 10:20am | Gary and I are delighted to set up a Duo event in the Galtees where two runners will run the whole race together. If one runner gets to the finish line before the other, you will have to wait there for your partner before crossing the finish line as you must cross it together. It's a more challenging route than last year, a tough 27k with 1800m elevation. But you'll have some one to chat to and motivate you the whole way so it will probably only feel like 25k and 1600m :-) The new route is up on the event page for anyone who feels like doing a recce. The event isn't open yet as we have a few details to iron out first - complications of paired entry. When it is opened up, both runners will have to enter as per any IMRA race and then email me to let me know both names. We hope you enjoy it, Johnny |
