Owen Harney | Aug 13 2024, 10:22am | Hi all, Two notes re. Mám Éan this coming Saturday. 1) We do have a Junior course option. This is a approx 3.5km with 170m elevation gain. Please note that much of this covers loose, rocky terrain, so is quite technical. 2) Our permit for Mám Éan caps entries at 50. We reached 50 for last week's event in Knockma, so consider entering earlier in the week to guarantee your spot. Entries close at 18:00 on Friday, or once we hit 50 entries. All the best, Owen |
Owen Harney | Aug 14 2024, 10:56am | Hi all, Thanks to all who have signed up for this race. To anyone still considering, please note that as of this time only 8 spaces remain. Please also note that car pooling is strongly encouraged, as parking may be limited on the day. Mám Éan is also a popular spot for walkers/hikers. Please consider using the carpooling "Make your car available for this event" option, at the bottom of the event page. All the best, Owen |
Owen Harney | Aug 15 2024, 9:55am | Hi all, With this event now sold out, we would please ask that you strongly consider carpooling to the event. As this area is open to the public, parking may be limited. The "Make your car available for this event" button, at the bottom of the event page, is very useful for this. Your support and cooperation is greatly appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you all on Saturday! Owen Harney |
