I ran it with our baby and am most grateful to everyone who “kept an eye” on him during the race. I shouted back and forwards at him many times as we went hell for leather; sometimes he heard me and sometimes not. Every time however, other voices came back from the darkness “He’s fine!!!” or words to that effect. It’s the IMRA Meitheal ethos which appeals to me most. Yes, we try to knock lumps out of each other on race day but ever mindful of the bigger picture. A privilege to know Youghal (some, anyway) and a privilege to be involved and racing. Way. To. Go. Chapeau to IMRA. |
