Conor McElroyDec 9 2024, 11:10amMorning everyone

The race entry for the half and 10km will be re opened this evening from 6pm til 8pm.

They are both nearly sold out- the entry limit won't be increased any further so please don't miss this last opportunity to sign up.

Cheers,

Conor

Mark DeelyDec 13 2024, 9:09amFirst time running an IMRA event and looking at the list of what to bring. It says Foil blanket. Is that mandatory and if so where can they be bought?
Thanks,
Mark
Trevor DunnDec 13 2024, 9:20amHi Mark, I'm based in Tralee and picked one up at Mountain Warehouse in the square for €5.99 this week, they had about 10 more on the shelf at the time.
Michael RoeslerDec 13 2024, 9:39amHi, I signed up for volunteering at IMRA events the first time for the 5k/10k. At what time are helpers for those races expected to be in Glanageenty?
Mark DeelyDec 13 2024, 9:56amThanks Trevor.
Conor McElroyDec 13 2024, 12:40pmGood afternoon all

The emails to race entrants and volunteers have been sent out.

Volunteers please show at race registration (the trailhead) at 8am

If you haven't received your email, please post a message here with your email and we'll send you the instructions

All race participants and volunteers - please take note of car parking instructions in particular.

For Race Entrants - 2 car parking options exist

1. park at Clogher Church and then carpool in groups up to the trail head.
From there Car Park Marshalls will direct you towards another car parking area - please note it is 1.5km from race registration, so please give yourself plenty of time to register pre race.

(please prefer this option as car parking is particularly limited this year with the high number of race entrants)

2. Ignore Clogher church and drive straight up toward trail head and follow the Marshall's instructions.

Toilets available at race registration

Please note, we downgraded mandatory kit to mobile phone and rain jacket only

Any questions, please ask

cheers

Conor
Michael RoeslerDec 13 2024, 12:52pmThanks Conor. Will be there at 8am. Put myself down as helper for the half now as well.
Maire O'SullivanDec 15 2024, 9:59amHuge thanks to Conor and the multitude of volunteers for a wonderful event. Trail was immaculate, start/finish was really well organised, climbing was tough(!) and the buzz was fantastic. Shout out to John Lenihan and his parking team who squeezed a myriad of cars into every nook and cranny in the vicinity.
