Joe Gray (USA) won the individual race after a Ugandan was disqualified for being hand pushed by a junior teammate in the last 500 metres. Andrea Mayr won the women's title again with a very convincing win. Laura Shaughnessy ran with the leading Italians until fading in the second half of the race. Brian MacMahon led the senior men home. |
