Richard Nunan | May 31 2015, 5:50pm | Great running folks, looked like a spectacular course in some pretty hot conditions. Super run from Dan, who had a pretty hard fall injuring his knee early in the race. |
Richard Nunan | Jun 2 2015, 10:23pm | 259 athletes(including 95 women), representing 37 nations gathered on the shores of Lake Annecy seeking to gain the titles of IAU Trail World Champion 2015; the men's title, women's title and team title, all going to France There was some great racers, to mention a few, Xavier Thévenard , Luis Merillas Sébastien Spehler (FR) who Sylvain Court,Manuel Merillas and a fantastic run from Patrick Bringer, who had made a great comeback from the Col de la Cochette pass, move from the 14th to 4th position and ended up in 3rd !! Great race report from Dan Doherty now in the race report section. A great read where we can see that a severe fall cost him alot of places. Well done again to Team Ireland, Daniel Doherty, Johnny Steede, Paul Tierney, Justin Maxwell and Barry Hartnet with an impressive 13th Country finish in sweltering conditions. |
