There is just an issue with IMRA online registration, the webmaster is aware and looking into it. The registration facility should be back up and running shortly. Thanks for your patience. -B |

But anyway, Robbie Williams answered that it was discussed at great length my MMRA and it was decided in keeping with the other two events in the long distance Championship that the Marathon be more suited to the Ultra. i.e. Sat May 2 9:30 AM Ballyhoura Mountain Marathon BMM 1176m 42.00km 8 Sun Jun 28 9:00 AM Galtee Crossing GLC 1500m 32.00km 10 Sat Sep 19 10:00 AM Glen of Aherlow Loop De Loop Marathon Trail Run GAM 600m 42.00km 3 I can see why they came to that decision: ~42km, ~32km and 42km again is a nice balanced trio. |

Mark posted this up last week; "We have 3 water stops around the 13.1 mile route so we are looking for volunteers to man these.Your job would basically be handing out water and encouraging the athletes on the day." The carpark is right next to the Start/Finish line, which is handy if you want to leave a sports drink or gel by your car for the second or,God forbid, third loop. Micheal. |

If everything is the same as last year, all three events have the same Start/Finish line, at the upper end of the Top car park for the Aherlow House Hotel. 3 loops for the ultra, 2 loops for the marathon and one for the half. https://connect.garmin.com/activity/458680768 |
