Derek CharlesApr 4 2013, 4:01pmHi Gerard,

Will there be a junior course at this race? Thanks
Hazel ThompsonApr 5 2013, 10:31amThe IMRA race is onthe 6th but if anyone is thinking of staying on for the orienteering (brush up on your navigation skills) on the Sunday 7th, details can be found here: http://www.setantaorienteers.org/event/2013-sc-Mullaghmeen

Entries to the Mullaghmeen Leinster Spring Cup event on 7th April can be made on line from now up to 18:00 on Sat. 6th April by using the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1cwAk91FIysZi3ND1S6EggZ3iIpvfOgHkn2txLIo478g/viewform?sid=1bb16078c5a681bb&token=M3CCmT0BAAA.5Fw30j82yXl3TlIgZjPk5A.PI5DOpviXodycdo4jaYepA&pli=1

Please use this method if you plan to come to the event as it is easier for the competitors and facilitates entry into the Sportident software. Payment of entry fees on arrival. Entries will also be accepted on the day. Looking forward to a good turnout and hoping for some nice Spring weather !

Mullaghmeen is the largest beach plantation in Ireland, covering 1000 acres. It has large areas of runnable forest. There are many small hills and areas of complex contour detail making this an ideal area for orienteering.

This event is part of the "Mullaghmeen Adventure Gathering" weekend - http://www.thegatheringireland.com/Attend-A-Gathering/individual-gathering.aspx?eid=1940&name=Mullaghmeen%20Adventure%20Gathering

Walking tours will also be held over the weekend on the many well maintained waymarked walking routes. The forest is renowned for its flora in springtime, including primroses and bluebells in abundance depending on the weather conditions.

Why not consider taking part in the events over both days. We would particularly welcome orienteers and visitors from Northern Ireland and from across the water. The "Gathering" event is being sponsored by the local community development Group and we thank them for their continuing support for orienteering in Mullaghmeen.
Paul O' ConnorApr 10 2013, 3:30pmJust to say that once more, Mullaghmeen was a hugely enjoyable and very well organised race. Especially enjoyed the tea, sandwiches and buns afterwards!

The first IMRA race of the year for me and a good lead into the Summer League.

Notice that the results aren't up yet. They are available at: http://stbrigidsathleticclub.com/page18.php
