- Predominantly uphill race. Senior men will finish on Djouce summit. Junior men and senior women at foot of Djouce at Wicklow Way junction. Junior women and under 16 boys at junction where WW leaves the forest wall in direction of Djouce. Under 16 girls where course meets Wicklow Way before it descends to the Dargle river. Juniors and women start is 12:00. Men start at 12:10. Under 16 girls (1994/1995): 3.0 km with 260m climb and 55m descent. Junior women and under 16 boys: 3.9 km with 400m climb and 142m descent. Junior men and senior women: 5.2 km with 545m climb and 142m descent. British and Irish selection The junior courses in the World trial will be used to select the under 16 and under 18 teams. Inter-Counties Championships The first 3 county teams in both the men and women categories will be awarded championship medals. Any number of athletes may run on a team with the highest placed 3 finishers counting for the team result. The first female finisher will score 1 point. Register your county in the laptop.

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize
Volunteers (Running)
Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
