All runners must bring the above items to the race. The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day, depending on conditions etc., and clearly advised at Registration.

You should also have the means to carry all the kit in case required.

Failure to have the required items may lead to you being denied entry to the race, or disqualification. Random checks may be carried out.

Route Description:
Start 989 956 at the barrier beside the car park. Follow the waymarked and agreed route to Tabletrack Junction. No climbing gates and always have the Military signs on your right. From Tabletrack Junction 021 967 everything is free route choice just taking in Table Mountain 019 973, Lobawn 978 977, Sugarloaf 968 965 and Finish 989 956

Registration will open at 10 am Registration will close at 10:50 am There will be a strict kit check in place for this race. There will be no early start everyone will start at 11 am This race requires an ability to navigate on trackless terrain using a paper map and compass, (No digital aids allowed for Nav please, except in emergencies). Race consists of the following checkpoints which must be visited in order

021 967 Tabletrack Junction (Signpost)
019 973 Table Mountain (Cairn)
978 977 Lobawn (Toppled stone pillar)
968 965 Sugarloaf (junction of tracks)
989 956 Finish

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
