- Route Description:
- The Dysart Dash is a beautiful 6.5km loop on wooded trail . At approx. 250m of ascent , it is suitable for both the beginner and the experienced trail runner. The Route has changed this year and will be an anti-clockwise loop as opposed to last year's fig of eight course. It is a fast course with some lovely climbs up Hewson Hill and moderate but steep technical descents also .
This native woodland is a spectacular environment for a trail race , with beautiful views of the Rock of Dunamaise throughout sections of the route.
There will be a Junior Route , which will be approx 3km and will be an out and back course . There will be a marshal at turnaround point. Please note U10 must be accompanied on the race route by a guardian or parent.
