This is a Long Distance Open Mountain Unmarked Race. Every runner must have experience of navigation and must be able to use a compass.

Race start time - 08.00. No early start option. Registration will open at 7.15 (please refer to 'Getting There' for location) and close at 7.50am. All runners must present at sign-in before gun time.

In the interest of safety, there will be cut offs at checkpoints.

Checkpoint 1: Sally Gap crossroads - 10:45.

Checkpoint 2: Wicklow Gap/ Turlough Hill car park - 14:00.

Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable.
