Please read through the RD pack so you can come prepared to ask Brendan and Vivian all the hard questions!

Please have a think about what race you would like to RD – and you might as well sign up now as you will be well-ready by the end of the session.(I know some of you have already done this – so thanks!)
Also, it is never too soon to think about who could support you as deputy RD if it is your first RD role. That person could be a running volunteer.

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
