Looking for volunteers to test a new adventure challenge format

Conor BuckleyNov 5 2020, 12:07pmHi there,

We are a startup launching a new team based adventure challenge series in 2021 and we are looking for a handful of volunteer teams (max of two households per team) to test the format;

- a road/trail run c. 21k
- a mountain hike/run c.21k
- an adventure cycle c.100k
Testing will take place over 3 to 4 weekends subject to weather/restrictions in late Nov, early Dec and volunteer teams need to commit for all 3 weekends.

It's free, will be a bit of craic, the routes are fantastic, there will be (modest) prizes and everything will adhere to Covid guidelines. Test venues are near Cork city and Dublin so we can only take volunteer teams from near those locations.

If you and a member of your household/a friend are interested, please email me conor.buckley@icloud.com and indicate which location your team is interest in.

We can only accept teams, sorry no individuals and while teams can have up to four members, these must reside in two households max. Due to current restrictions, we are limited to a very small number of teams in this testing phase and we will give preference to co-ed / mixed teams.

I don't think our format conflicts with IMRA in any way and we will be encouraging all our 2021 teams to join IMRA and participate in IMRA events as a way to upskill their mountain running skillset. However if the mods deem this post is inappropriate, please remove it and accept our sincere apologies.

Yours sincerely,
