John & Beth GoldrosenMay 27 2010, 10:46amCan someone provide directions to the June 2nd Cratlow Woods race? We're from the U.S. (we live near Boston). We'll be visiting Ireland next week, and staying in Bunratty that evening.
Niall EnrightMay 29 2010, 11:04amThis wednesday's run will take place in Cratloe woods. We'll meet at 7.30pm with the run starting at 8pm.

To get there, take the Ennis road from Limerick and leave the dual-carriageway at the sign for Cratloe / Sixmilebridge. After you pass the Woodcross pub/restaurant on your left take the right turn signposted Cratloe Woods. We'll meet at the car-park about half a mile up this road on the right hand side.

This weeks run is approximately 10km with a height gain of 300m and will take place on a variety of trails, including fire-road, gravel track and mountain-bike trails. There will be a short section on tarmac at the start and end. The 300m height gain will be spaced reasonably consistently along the length of the run.

Niall.
John and Beth GoldrosenMay 31 2010, 7:35pmThank you! We will be there.
Beth and John GoldrosenJun 1 2010, 5:53pmIs the course well marked and knowing the regular participants, what time does the 1st place finisher usually finish in?

Beth and John GoldrosenJun 1 2010, 5:58pmps, we are not asking these questions because we are fast, because we aren't fast, we just want to be sure we finish in time to join everyone else for a pint afterwards!!!
aidan hoganJun 1 2010, 8:17pmIf it's any reassurance to ye, the previous 2 races had the winners finishing in 35 - 40 minutes with nobody taking longer than 70 - 80 minutes. I don't think anyone will try and sneak off to the pub while the american couple are lost in the woods- but there's a first time for everything!!!
Beth and John GoldrosenJun 15 2010, 12:18pmWe are wondering if the results from the Cratloe Woods June 2nd race will be posted onto this site or where else we may find them?

thanks! We really enjoyed the race!!!
