Rene BorgJun 10 2008, 5:48pmPlease note that entries to this event has officially closed.

However, the secretary has informed me that international entries will still be accepted. The deadline is 1st of July, however, so go to the official website, download the form and send it along with the 12GBP fee to Geoff Clegg (address on website) to enter.

Remember to list your marathon and long-distance hill running merits on the form as preference will be given to runners with proven experience in these types of races if all entries fill out.

See Snowdon event page on IMRA website for selection policy. A posting will be sent to the forum after the national inter-clubs on 21st June to determine who is interested in selection. Athletes running for Ireland do NOT need to submit an individual entry to the organisers as they have kindly given us reserved entries.

Can runners interested in being considered for selection for the Snowdon 10 miles race on July 26th, please email me at gerry.brady at imra.ie by Sunday June 29th. Selection will be made on the basis of form in 2008 particularly in the national inter-clubs. The race is a complement to the Europeans so it is not expected that athletes selected for the Europeans will put themselves forward for Snowdon.

Good luck to all of the athletes running in Snowdon on 26th July especially to those gaining their first international vests. See photos on 2007 IMRA race results web page to see the challenge that lies ahead of them.
