Colin HalloranApr 10 2018, 12:47amHi, I am signed up for the full but having just run Maurice Mullins at the weekend I will as wondering would it be possible to swap to the ultra? I understand if this isn’t feasible.
Neal McQuaidApr 16 2018, 1:15pmHi, wondering about the location for staying in a camper the Friday night? Thanks.
Andrew WormaldApr 16 2018, 1:28pmThere is a excellent campervan site in the middle of kilfinane. It is sheltered and secure.
David BrennanApr 16 2018, 2:59pmHi

Can you confirm that this race still qualifies for points to UTMB. The event date and distance is different to the details on the UTMB website.

Thanks
David

Thanks Eamon
Robbie WilliamsApr 29 2018, 2:30pmIn answer to questions:

Race breif will be emailed to all entrants in the next 24-36 hours.
This will include details off cut offs, aid stations etc.

PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION FOR ULTRA IS ON FRIDAY NIGHT
7-9pm In BALLYHOURA LUXURY HOSTEL IN KILFINNANES MAIN STREET!

No sign in on the morning!

Richard NunanMay 6 2018, 12:15pmGreat event lads, first section of the ultra was a nice mud bath.. great to see a mini running festival in Ballyhoura. Thanks To Robbie, Tom, and the Munster crew. Mud in the Sun with cheesecake a great day out
Adrian HennessyMay 6 2018, 8:10pmGreat organisation yesterday from the MMRA crew. Co-ordinating 4 races with different start times is a big undertaking. Fantastic spread as usual afterwards and the weather helped. Thanks!
Barry DrennanMay 7 2018, 4:16pmThanks Robbie and Co.! Brilliant race ... just wanted to say whoever marked out the course did an amazing job ... espically the small root along a muddy section had tape tied around it! That made me smile!
John McCannMay 7 2018, 11:16pmThanks to all the organisers for a superb event on Saturday. It was a tough going underfoot but great to leave the rain jacket in the backpack for the whole day. Totally agree that the marking was excellent, particularly on the first loop. One of the best events in the IMRA calendar!
Patricia BlackburnMay 9 2018, 6:45pmThanks everyone. Thankfully things went smoothly with only a few glitches, that only the organisers noticed!!!.
It was combined effort from the RDs and all the volunteers as always an amazing bunch to work with..Big shout out to Linda Hynes who unwittingly put up her hand up at the A.G.M. to R.D. the event. Great job Linda.Glad you all enjoyed it and we got everyone home safely..
There was a lot of bags left lying around with bottles and energy bars etc. unfortunately we couldn't go through them all.I did manage to save a few specialised water bottles so please message me with description and we can see about returning them.
Thanks again for all the nice comments.
Paul CrokeMay 16 2018, 11:14amA great race, perfectly organised and what weather, certainly made it much tougher on those steep climbs.
I just realized I left my heavier Columbia rain jacket on a shelf just off the GAA hall. Doubt anyone picked it up ? would anyone have a number for them possibly might be worth a call at least. Thanks in advance
Neal McQuaidMay 25 2018, 10:22amHi, it took a few weeks longer than planned however, here's a little write-up on my first ultra with a little pre-amble story. Thanks to all involved, great fun (even with the self-inflicted wrong turn :)!
