Conor O'FarrellJun 15 2018, 1:00pmHi David

More than willing to help as a running volunteer on the day, I just cannot commit to when I will arrive just yet. So, not much use to you right now. I will seek you out once I arrive though.
Aidan O'DonoghueJun 15 2018, 5:03pmI could do it but I'd need a lift, from Dublin or from a public transport stop along the way.
Clare KeeleyJun 18 2018, 9:43pmHi David, I can volunteer if you still need help. Clare

Brian FureyJun 23 2018, 4:17pmHi David,
Just wondering. What course is the race? Is it same course as one that was used for Winter League?

Thanks,
Brian
Rachel CinnsealachJun 23 2018, 11:54pmI will be selling some gear I have (including a few small innovate jackets) at trooperstown on Wed all money I get will go to mountain rescue. I have camping stuff from Aldi, un-opened, I seem to have 4 or 5 of everything!!! Sleeping bags, tents, HR monitors etc... I'm not putting a price on anything, so please donate generously. If anyone else has un used or practically new stuff they want to bring along and get rid of feel free to do so. There is a photo on Facebook.
Mick HanneyJun 24 2018, 8:55pm@Brian. Last year's summer race and previous years, if I'm not mistaken, followed the out and back route - different from Winter. https://www.imra.ie/events/maps/id/1444/
Brian FureyJun 24 2018, 9:10pmCheers Mick

Brian GrehanJun 26 2018, 6:36pmFour of us previously registered and ran a race so we have our numbers. We have not signed up for Trooperstown yet but can we turn up at the start tomorrow and use some vouchers I bought previously?
(I bought 10 vouchers but never received a physical voucher as such, just an email confirming I'd bought them.....which I can show tomorrow on my phone)
David RouseJun 26 2018, 6:39pmYes, Brian. Please show email to voucher collection desk at registration.

David RouseJun 27 2018, 3:48pmTemperature is currently 29C in Trooperstown. Please take the necessary precautions- Slip, Slap, Slop!

Be aware of major roads works and stop/go system on R755, Dublin side of Trooperstown, and minor works coming from Laragh direction.
David RouseJun 27 2018, 6:39pmDue to fire on road at Kilmacanogue and traffic delays, start delayed until 19:45.

Tanya SheridanJun 28 2018, 7:20amHuge thanks to David and all of the volunteer team for a fantastic race ... so well organised, fun route and the dip afterwards one of the best moments on the calendar ... thank you all! :)
Brendan LawlorJun 28 2018, 10:19amWell done Dave and all volunteers last night! It was hot and furious but lovely all the same !

Good to see Barry Minnock wasn't deterred after his near death experience at Howth and subsequently on our forum...
RuairĂ LongJun 28 2018, 3:18pmWell done to all involved, both racing and working! Thought I'd better do something useful with myself so gave a race report a go for the first time! Enjoy
John FitzgeraldJun 28 2018, 7:49pmWell done David and all volunteers for a fantastic evening in Trooperstown.
John FitzgeraldJun 28 2018, 7:50pmWell done David and all volunteers for a fantastic evening in Trooperstown.
Fabio BaltieriJun 28 2018, 11:00pmThanks Dave and all volunteers, was a great day to race... there should be a river close to the finish at every IMRA race! :-)

After the prize giving I've found a pair of plastic sunglasses on the road to the carpark. They are a bit worn and scratchy and I can't read the brand but let me know if you want them back, I'll bring them at the next race!
Conor O'FarrellJun 28 2018, 11:34pmHi Fabio

I dropped my Oakleys, but I thought they went into the fantasticly cool river and went downstream. They should not be very worn though, unless they got stood on a few times :-(.

Conor
Fabio BaltieriJun 30 2018, 8:18pmNah, the one I've found seems to be a pair of cheap Orao Decathlon Arenberg for Cycling... Sorry Conor!
