Route Description:

Start along WW from Crone. Then Up Steep ride through forest towards Maulin. Turn right at track at top of ride. Follow this track to left turn at wall and then on up to Maulin summit. Turn left at summit to follow peaty path back toward forest. Turn right at wall and on down to Dodder bridge. Follow WW up onto the shoulder of Djouce and then take right to follow new path up onto summit of Djouce. Then take left turn at summit to descent to boardwalk (WW). Go left here and follow WW all the way back to Crone carpark. Race is ~14km with ~ 760m of climb. Route will not be marked so all participants are expected to recee the route in advance or be competent navigators with map/ compass in hand. Organisers Instructions:

Car Pool from Glencormac Inn in Killmacanogue (10.00 -10.30). Multiple occupancy cars only to Crone car park for Registration . Race start at 11.00 , early start 10:30 AGM to follow at 14.00 in Glencormac Inn.

Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable.
