Route Description:
The 7km route will start at the GAA grounds and follow in clockwise direction around the Sugarloaf mountain. Most of the trail is gravelled but will also include some grassy and mucky section including spectacular views of Bray at night on the descent.
Getting There:
N11 to Kilmacanogue – take exit at roundabout in Kilmacanogue – left onto Quill Road, right fork – right onto Glencap Road, GAA grounds.
Organisers Instructions:
Women's night challenge [run/walk/hike] This is an introductory night challenge to encourage and promote women participation in night running events. Head torches, waterproof jacket and trail runners are compulsory. The route follows the Sugarloaf Way. There will be a sweeper for this run to encourage all levels of ability.
Prizegiving Location:
Finish line at the GAA Club. Every finisher will receive a specially designed buff with the route map.

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
