Organisers Instructions:
A race over the Wicklow Way from Marlay Park to Clonegal with a maximum allowed time of 21 hours. The race will start at the plaque marking the start of the Wicklow Way in Marlay Park. It is anticipated that registration will be from 22:30 to 23:30 on May 23rd with the race starting at midnight. Runners must follow the Wicklow Way route as it is on the day of the race. This means that any diversions signposted on the day must be followed. Drop bags will be transported to aid stations, the number of which will be decided by the number of volunteers available. This page and the race Facebook page will be updated on the week of the race with what aid stations will be available. No early starts will be accommodated and the cut off times as outlined below will apply. No exceptions can be made to these due to the workload required in manning aid stations. Trophies will be awarded to the first male and female finishers and all entrants who complete the full route in the allowed time will receive a memento marking their achievement. Race entry will cost 50 Euro. Runners must also register for annual IMRA membership. Registration is expected to open early April and close early May. We may have to cap entries based on volunteers available. Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
