Route Description:
TO ALL JUNIORS: We are going to set up a junior race which will have a different start/finish place to the main race. The start/finish will be moved to the end of the bog road (near the stream crossing). The junior route will follow the main route up to the mast and back down. Please beware that the junior start/finish is about 2.5km from the main start/finish line. The juniors will start at 7.30pm, so give yourselves enough time to register and get to the start. (the distance will be about 6k).
Getting There:
Start: Feather Beds Road Gr. O 130197. Please carpool from Buglers (http://tinyurl.com/67mdpau), as there is very limited parking along the Feather beds/military road. We have the use of a small field at the back left side of the main carpark in Buglers, please fill this first before using the main carpark.
Organisers Instructions:
Route will be the usual, along the bog road, up to the mast and back down the same way. There will be an early start at 19:00 for 160%+ finishers. Depending on the weather a jacket might be compulsory. Please have one at the registration. To limit erosion, please stay on the marked route. Annual registration is €10 (€5 for the unwaged) and race registration is €7 (€4 for the unwaged). Bring exact change and look up your number if already registeered for this year in advance if you can to help smooth registration. If you've never run an IMRA race before, or you haven't registered for this year, it would be helpful if you can register online using MyIMRA. Make sure you hand back your number after the race. NOTE: Registration will close at 7:10 sharp. Registration is at the start, i.e. Feather Beds road.

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
